There were several key swing states in the 2016 election. Many of them were poised by the left to swing for Hillary Clinton. But, that did not happen. Instead of voting for Clinton, people voted for Donald Trump. They voted to make America great again.

Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Florida were at one time, Democrat strongholds. However, job loss, high taxes, and the collapse of steel and manufacturing industries, necessitated change. Democrats promised positive change, but delivered nothing.

The Past Will Not Dictate the Future

This historic election season saw record conservative voter turn-out. Millions of hard-working, patriotic Americans came out to say enough-is-enough. Frustrated by an over-reaching federal government — an administration that was starting to resemble a communist dictatorship.

They were tired of political elites more interested in their self-serving agendas than in serving the people. Voters wanted a President who could deliver the change they desperately needed. A genuine leader who cared about their suffering.

They knew that they couldn’t let the mistakes of the past, carry into the future. And, they understood this election was about more than just the presidency. It was about America’s future. Their future. That is why they chose Donald Trump. Now he wants to thank them for their vote.

President-elect Trump enjoys interacting with the people. He is active on both Facebook and Twitter. He wants to know what the citizens think. What they care about it. More importantly, he wants them to know that he cares.

To demonstrate his appreciation for voters, Trump is embarking on his “Thank You Tour 2016”.

His first stop will be in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ohio was considered crucial to a Trump victory, as the state has sided with EVERY Presidential winner since 1964. Trump won the state 51% to Clinton’s 43%.

While all the tour stops have not been announced, he is tentatively scheduled to appear in Des Moines, Iowa after his Ohio visit. It is also likely his tour will take him to Indiana, where he plans to make a major announcement at the Carrier plant in Indianapolis.

Trumps’ advance team director, George Gigicos, has said, “The tour will involve visits to the states that we won and the swing states we flipped over.”

The “Thank You Tour” will likely make stops in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Florida as well. These states went for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012.

President-elect Trump has a lot of work ahead of him. It speaks volumes that, in the middle of a difficult transition, and needing to fill hundreds of vacant cabinet positions, he is taking the time to thank the voters

This is the type of appreciation the American people have been waiting eight long years for. Now, they finally have the President they so richly deserve.

Join us in congratulating President Trump by sharing a personal message in our exclusive online greeting card that will be sent to him on January 19th!
