Republican Committeeman, G. Brooks Jennings, was executed in his front yard in West Goshen, PA. While his wife stood by unable to help, 51-year old Clayton Carter, an anti-Trump fanatic, shot Jennings twice in the head. Local media called the murder a “neighborhood dispute,” but locals and lawn signs tell a different story.

According to 6ABC, police responded to the 300 block of Box Elder Drive for a dispute between Carter and Jennings about cursing and video recording in the back yard. Police said they were able to resolve that dispute. However, at 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the trouble started again.

Carter alleged that Jennings “shined a bright light into his eyes” while he was outside. Carter retaliated by driving his car onto his lawn and flashing the high beams at Jennings home. Then, Carter allegedly retrieved a .380 semi-automatic handgun from his house and confronted Jennings again outside.

He shot Jennings once in the head, knocking him to the ground. While Jennings’ wife watched, Carter stood over him and shot him in the head a second time. Carter claimed that Jennings attacked him with a knife first, however, he had no injuries to substantiate his allegations. Carter has been charged with murder and related offenses and is currently being held at the Chester County Prison.

Neighbors posted that Carter was a quarrelsome, argumentative man. Court records showed Carter had a history of disputes with multiple neighbors. His front yard was crowded with cars and homemade anti-Trump signs. Law enforcement also confirmed that Carter pointed a gun at Jennings during a previous altercation.

Jennings’ long time neighbor, Brian Dougherty, was emotional about the loss of his friend. “You don’t want to sound cliche, you see this on TV all the time, but he is probably the nicest, best guy I’ve ever met in my whole life. Really, seriously,” Dougherty said. Jennings death comes just months after House Majority Whip, Steve Scalise, and four other Republicans we shot by another anti-Trump lunatic during baseball practice in Virginia.
