“Meet You in the Schoolyard”

There has been a great deal of controversy surrounding President Trump’s latest Twitter remarks aimed at Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski. It’s not surprising that liberals have taken offense at his comments, attempting to use them as proof that he has no respect for women. What they aren’t talking about, however, is the unprecedented level of disrespect that has been shown to President Trump.

Case in point, MSNBC contributor Donny Deutsch challenging the President of the United States to a physical fight.

Responding to the controversy Friday morning, Deutsch condemned President Trump’s tweets declaring that when Trump “goes low” he would go “just as low,” in a reinvention of a phrase made famous by former First Lady Michelle Obama.

“He’s physically disgusting to look at,” Deutsch lamented. “He’s not mentally okay.” Continuing his early morning rant, Deutsch suggested that the president was a hypocrite for his remarks about Brzezinski.

“To talk about women that way–and the irony is you physically look like you do?” said Deutsch.

Not satisfied with verbally attacking President Trump, Deutsch then showed off his New York bravado for viewers by challenging him to a physical fight. “We’re from Queens-I’ll meet you in the schoolyard, brother. I’ll meet you in the schoolyard,” Deutsch said.

Really?

Is Deutsch worried about losing his man card or something?

Brzezinski and co-host and fiancé, Joe Scarborough, also responded to President Trump on Friday morning. “I am very concerned about what this once again reveals about the president of the United States,” Brzezinski said.

“He appears to have a fragile, impetuous, childlike ego that we’ve seen over and over again.”

Brzezinski also touted that President Trump can’t handle women suggesting that “women in the White House should set him straight.” Ironically, the president’s senior adviser, Kellyanne Conway, doesn’t agree. Conway defended President Trump’s remarks on Fox and Friends Friday morning.

“It’s incredible to watch people play armchair psychologist, outwardly ridiculing the president’s physicalities, mental state, calling names … [and] feigning shock when he wants to fight back and defend himself”
