Tune in January 21st for the next episode of Survivor.

Wait…wrong show — right producer.

Survivor producer, Mark Burnett, is apparently hands-on, preparing Donald Trump for Inauguration Day.

Word is, the producer of Trump’s reality show The Apprentice has been in talks with Trump. Whispers say Burnett and Trump may include aspects of a parade down 5th Avenue, and a helicopter ride down to D.C.

As Mark Burnett shared with the New York Times, “The helicopter ride to Washington from New York could hold the attention of millions of people.”

According to some sources, Burnett seems to be on-board in helping transform the event. One thing’s certain, he would add the fun factor our future president likes.

A member of the transition team, TV personality Omarosa Manigault stated, “The inauguration is going to be huge. Of course, Mr. Trump wants it blinged out and fabulous and glamorous.”

If anyone can press for that to happen it’s Trump’s close friend Omarosa.

However, we should find no surprise in discovering Trump wants the activities of the day to be available to the common Joe. As much “bling” as some want to add to the swearing-in day; more thoughtful heads are weighing in.

Due to security concerns, some of the venue ideas might require toning down. Various agencies must work together to ensure safety factors are in place. This means Trump’s common-man approach may be the over-riding theme.

Even though a subdued approach may be taking shape, Mark Burnett is willing to help with the week’s celebration. Rest assured, the traditional balls and dinners will remain a draw, although with Burnett involved, maybe with a bit more pizazz.

Friends, But Not Politically Together

Although Mark Burnett is a close friend of Donald Trump; he made no bones about his vote in November. In October, Burnett released a statement about his position regarding the election.

“Given all of the false media reports, I feel compelled to clarify a few points,” reads Burnett’s statement. “I am not now, and have never been a supporter of Donald Trump’s candidacy. I am NOT “Pro-Trump.”

Further, my wife and I reject the hatred, division, and misogyny that has been a very unfortunate part of his campaign.”

Though part of the Hollywood elite, and obviously influenced by its views, playing a part in Trump’s Inauguration says a considerable amount about Burnett’s character. Burnett is willing to set aside polarizing political views to help his friend.

All of this makes me wonder about another Burnett produced program. Will a Shark Tank personality show a similar amount of graciousness? What do you think Mr. Cuban?

How do you think Trump’s inauguration will differ from previous administrations?
