Mocking the Mockers

If there is one thing the liberals hate, it is having to swallow their own bitter medicine. And they got a big dose of it recently, courtesy of first-daughter, Ivanka Trump, and Florida Senator Marco Rubio. Ivanka and Rubio met with other lawmakers at the Capitol this week, to discuss Ivanka’s child care tax credit and family paid leave proposals.

The “story” was, that Rubio attempted to hug Ivanka-and she did not reciprocate. Naturally, social media erupted in laughter as liberals mocked the pair’s awkward encounter. A host of tweets were posted allegedly showing Rubio stumbling into Ivanka, who towered over the senator.

However, that was not at all the case, and Ivanka and Rubio decided they would join in the fun. What resulted was an epic trolling of internet bullies. Rubio started out by tweeting a “We believe we have our own unclassified photographic evidence that will shed greater details on this incident.” Then he shared the following:

But, Rubio wasn’t done yet. “Based on review of evidence & my own recollection, have concluded no hug was even attempted & press covfefe of alleged failed hug is false,” he wrote. Not long after, the first-daughter joined in with some tweets of her own about the “incident”

“Anonymous sources say @marcorubio planned the alleged failed hug. I have no comment (but I would have hugged him anyway!),” Ivanka tweeted. Then came, as they say, the icing on the cake:

Team Ivanka-Rubio for the win! It’s always fun to see justice served when and where it is so richly deserved, isn’t it?
