Attention, Kenny Chesney fans: you could win an autographed guitar from him.

The release date for Chesney’s “Cosmic Hallelujah” is October 28. In connection with this album, he’s giving away an autographed guitar to not just one person, but eight fans.

The album features the duet with Pink, “Setting The World On Fire.”

“To me, great songs are great songs regardless of genre, and the core of being alive is the same no matter where you are,” Chesney said about the song in a statement. That rush of realizing there’s something going on here…You’re really clicking with someone…Or even just one of those perfect nights with your friends, there’s no feeling like it.

“And I like the idea of P!NK with her voice that is so strong and contains so many colors, she really makes that idea of giving into your heart, shouting out the window and whirling around in the middle of an abandoned street feel real.”

But this isn’t the only song on the album Chesney is excited about.

“I’ve been blessed with some of the best songs out there, some songs written, actually, just for this album by writers whose work I’ve loved for years,” he says. “When ‘Setting the World on Fire’ came together, it opened a window of time—and some songs that had come in after we were done, I didn’t have to save for the next album. Suddenly, everything was changing, and the album I’m releasing now has a lot of what made.”

“And there’s one very special song I’ve been holding for years called ‘Coach’ that we went in and re-cut,” he said. “It really captured that song’s heart.”

Seventeen — that’s the number of albums Chesney has put out. That’s a lot. This album has a lot of guitar riffs, which is perfect for the guitar you could win. Eight winners will find out their lives have been changed after the cutoff time of 11:59 p.m. on October 28. Enter here.

Are you the type of person who never wins anything? Don’t worry — you should still enter. Even if you don’t win an autographed guitar, you could be a runner-up and win a copy of Chesney’s album. Which is bound to be a great album.

“Kenny Chesney is first and foremost a songwriter,” said Jody Williams, BMI Vice President of Writer / Publisher Relations in Nashville. “Not only has he earned the respect of the songwriting community, but he has also developed into a top-notch recording artist who re-wrote the concert touring experience by selling out stadiums year after year.

And as the second highest-paid country musician today, Chesney surely can afford to give a few guitars away. It’s a great PR move for this guy and great timing.
