Why Did Kaley Cuoco Miss Jim Parsons’ Wedding?

Jim Parsons was married last weekend to long-time partner Todd Spiewak. The celebration took place at The Rainbow Room in NYC with a star-studded guest list. However, noticeably absent was Kaley Cuoco.

You would think that after ten years of starring on a hit television series that Kaley would want to attend Jim’s special day. However, the star was nowhere to be seen in the photos from the Rainbow Room and appears to have been in Kentucky when the ceremony took place.

What a wedding. Not a cell phone in sight. Everyone was so present which sounds pretentious but it was truly powerful for us all to just want to be there fully. Todd and @therealjimparsons, you are so loved. Also: hands down, prettiest chupah ever. Seriously. #chupahlove #yourlove

Jim and Todd tied the knot during an intimate and beautiful ceremony in NYC. Costar and friend Mayim Bialik was in attendance and described the event as lovely. She even said that no cell phones were used during the ceremony, allowing everyone in the room to be present and in the moment.

Jim has posted a few photos from the day, showing himself and now husband Todd in matching Tom Ford tuxes, and smiling ear to ear. They were certainly happy and did have what seems like a large crowd to cheer them on.

However, we can’t tell if any other castmates besides Mayim were in attendance. Johnny Galecki appears to have been playing at a concert, according to his Instagram. Kunal Nayyar is on a social media hiatus and hasn’t posted anything in weeks. Melissa Rauch has been silent online since the season finale of The Big Bang Theory.

Perhaps most surprising is Kaley’s absence from the ceremony. The Big Bang Theory cast is known as a tight-knit group. They have frequently expressed that they are all great friends who enjoy being together.

Perhaps Kaley just simply couldn’t get away from the horses. The actress has been in Kentucky for a few weeks now with boyfriend Karl Cook. The pair are staying in a country house right next to horse pastures, and have been showing their horses at competitions all week.
