Part of President Trump’s January 25th immigration order was a directive to issue the “Weekly Declined Detainer Outcome Report.” The report comes from DHS and serves to warn the public about dangerous illegals in their communities. The detailed document identifies dozens of sanctuary cities that refused to comply with ICE detainer requests.

Per ICE officials, 206 illegals were released by local authorities between January 28th and February 3rd –after having committed additional crimes. Their alleged crimes ranged from misdemeanor “indecent exposure” to felony assault, rape, and murder.

A convicted arsonist was protected by sanctuary policies in Los Angeles, while a murder suspect in Philadelphia was set free. WND reported that Boulder City, CO, released three illegal aliens with assault convictions, one burglar and two with drug convictions.”

The new weekly bulletins are part of the president’s plan to enhance public safety, which also seeks to defund cities and counties who refuse to follow federal immigration laws. The primary purpose of the lists are to,

“Highlight jurisdictions that choose not to cooperate with ICE detainers or requests for notification, therefore potentially endangering Americans.”

“Our goal is to build cooperative, respectful relationships with our law enforcement partners. We will continue collaborating with them to help ensure that illegal aliens who may pose a threat to our communities are not released onto the streets to potentially harm individuals living within our communities.” -said Herndon.

The report highlighted three jurisdictions with the largest volume of ignored detainer requests which included Clark County, NV with 51 and Cook County, IL with 13. In Chicago and Philadelphia, ICE officials are prohibited from interviewing illegals in local custody.

Currently, there are over 300 cities across the country that operate as a sanctuary for those in the country illegally. Many of whom pose a threat. At least now the public will be aware of who is and isn’t working for their best interest.
