The Price of Truth
Tim Allen, star of Home Improvement and Last Man Standing” has once again taken a stand for President Trump and conservative values. The actor and comedian recently gave an interview to Jimmy Kimmel where he dared to speak the truth about liberal “tolerance” in Hollywood.
Allen told Kimmel that he attended Trump’s inauguration, a fact he says he is afraid to admit to because “You’ll get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes. It’s like ’30s Germany.”
This isn’t the first-time Allen has spoken out about the culture of hypocrisy that is running rampant in “tinsel town.” Back in November, he spoke with then-Fox News host Megyn Kelly and dropped a truth-bomb about their distasteful behavior:
“What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully. But if you had any inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And it gets a bit hypocritical for me.”
Many in Hollywood have frequently demonstrated just how out-of-touch with reality they are with average citizens. The criticism Allen is receiving for his comments offers tangible proof that it’s not just Hollywood that is…
Dangerous for Conservatives
Executive Director of the Anne Frank Center, Steven Goldstein, is demanding an apology from Allen. Goldstein alleges that comparing Hollywood to Nazi Germany is ridiculous:
“No one in Hollywood today is subjecting you or anyone else to what the Nazis imposed on Jews in the 1930s – the world’s most evil program of dehumanization, imprisonment and mass brutality, implemented by an entire national government, as the prelude for the genocide of nearly an entire people.”
The Holocaust was, without a doubt, a brutal and senseless tragedy. It was the systematic annihilation of a group of people based solely on their religious background. Which is the basis of Allen’s comparison.
Fast-forward to 2017 and what we have is another group of fascists (liberals) who are seeking to revise history, silence the opposition, and publicly destroy anyone who refuses to submit to their authoritarian worldviews.
Ironically, Goldstein has not demanded an apology for the Nazi-esque Trump billboard that now looms over Phoenix.
