The 65-year-old actor, Tom Wopat, played Luke Duke in the original television show. And recently, he was arrested on a warrant in Massachusetts for indecent assault and cocaine possession, according to People Magazine

One of these crimes is allegedly connected to his more recent stage production called 42nd Street.

Wopat, the acting and singing star of the production, reportedly put his hands down the pants of a woman who was working on the show, according to TMZ. Hence, the indecent assault charge.

The cocaine possession charge, however, was slapped on him when authorities discovered the substance on his person.

Wopat has done more than just Hazzard, starring in TV shows, movies, and even recording eight full-length albums as a musician. The 42nd Street production is sort of a combination of all of his skills.

Wopat plead not guilty and was released on $1,000 bail. He was also ordered to stay away from the alleged victim, according to NOLA.com. Despite these allegations, the 42nd Street show will go on with the regularly schedule opening date.

However, someone else will be playing the role Wopat was to play.

Sadly, he clearly has some problems he needs to work through and possibly some consequences he needs to experience before he can keep doing what he loves.

In the video below, you can watch Wopat’s screen test for Hazzard. It’s a part of the behind-the-scenes footage from shooting the show.
