Everyone loves a Disney vacation. Visiting a Disney theme park or taking a Disney Cruise is a magical experience. For kids and adults alike, a Disney vacation is something that will be remembered forever.

What if I told you that Disney magic could come along with you on your other vacations, too? Forget Disneyland and Walt Disney World — how about an amazing Disney vacation in Wyoming? How about Australia? Or even a European river cruise?

Introducing Adventures by Disney

Adventures by Disney is a little-known subsidiary that provides group guided family vacations around the globe. The company started in 2005 with only two destinations. Adventures by Disney now offers over 30 vacation experiences on six different continents!

Now, to be fair, taking a vacation with Adventures by Disney is NOT the same as visiting a Disney theme park. It’s not the same experience as taking a Disney Cruise, either. There are no costumed characters waiting to greet you. And there are no thrilling amusement park rides to keep you entertained.

Instead, Adventures by Disney is all about providing the same Disney quality you’re used to on unique vacation experiences around the world.

Why Plan Yourself When Disney Will Do It For You?

Now think about a normal family vacation (outside of Disney). You’ve got to plan everything yourself. Where will you go when you get there? Where will you stay? What will you eat? How will you get from place to place? How much do tickets cost for individual attractions or events? You can read online reviews and get advice from friends and family, but you’re still rolling the dice to a certain degree.

With Adventures by Disney, all of that planning and worrying is completely taken care of. You pay one price for the entire trip and Disney takes care of the rest. Transportation and hotel accommodations are pre-arranged by Disney. Your complete itinerary is planned and scheduled by Disney and any admission costs are taken care of in advance. Most meals are even pre-arranged. You and your group will have the company of two Disney-trained Adventure Guides who will accompany you throughout the trip.

A Big Apple Vacation

For example, let’s take a look at a family trip to New York City. You could plan a trip on your own, tracking down hotels and trying to find attractions and showtime for events to keep your family happy and engaged.

Or you could book a vacation with Adventures by Disney’s “New York City Long Weekend” trip. It’s a 4 day/3 night stay in the Big Apple, with Disney handling everything for you. You’ll stay at the Intercontinental New York Times Square hotel.

New York City: Day One

On Day One, you’ll have some time to check into your room and get settled before heading out. Next, you’ll take an amazing sightseeing tour of NYC on THE RIDE, a thrilling one-of-a-kind motorcoach. It’s outfitted with 40 plasma TVs and over 3000 LED lights. The tour includes live performances, up-close looks at landmarks like Times Square and the Chrysler Building, and a few other surprises.

New York City: Day Two

Day Two is non-stop behind-the-scenes magic. You’ll start with an exclusive VIP tour of the set of ABC’s Good Morning America. Then you’ll visit a real-life Broadway rehearsal workshop and have the opportunity to try out a few songs for yourself. Break for lunch at John’s Pizzeria in Times Square — the biggest pizzeria in the world! That afternoon you’ll get a private tour of Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theater, including a visit to the Prop Room, where you can try on authentic stage outfits. Stick around, because after that you’ll see a live performance of the hit Disney Broadway musical Aladdin at the New Amsterdam Theater!

New York City: Day Three

On Day Three things get a little more serious. First up is a walking tour of Harlem and learn about its history and music — including the locations of the famous Cotton Club and Savoy. Then you’ll enjoy a bit of soul food with lunch at Harlem’s Red Rooster restaurant. After a brief introduction from your Adventure Guides, you’ll then get a chance to reflect at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Then take a trip to the top of One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western hemisphere. After that you’ll learn about NYC’s rich immigrant history with an exclusive performance at The Tenement!

New York City: Day Four

On Day Four, you’ll have the morning to explore the city for yourself. Then transportation will be provided to the airport or train station to return home.

The Tip of the Iceberg

Now, doesn’t that sound AMAZING? And that’s only one of 30 different destinations! Learn more about Adventures by Disney at their official website.
