This is not a transfer speculation that includes Neymar going to Man City. It’s simply a case of a great player admiring a great coach.

Neymar already confirmed that he’s happy at Barcelona, and he has no plans leaving anytime soon. He’s also close to signing a new deal that will keep him at Barca even longer. The new deal will probably increase his release clause to a sum that only a few clubs can afford.

He already confirmed he’s staying in Barcelona, but in case a rich club like PSG decides to trigger his release clause, Barcelona will get $200+ millions for the Brazilian.

But that’s not going to happen, because Neymar is one of the best players in the world, and he’s playing for the best club in the world. The Barcelona environment suits him well. He has many opportunities for scoring and assisting, and occasionally showing of his skills.

Trying new skills on top defenders is sometimes criticized on and off the pitch. But that’s who he is. He’s Brazilian after all, and Ronaldinho was his idol.

He’s not just skills and tricky moves. He was when he was playing for Santos, but he improved a lot since he arrived at Barcelona.

He only dribbles when necessary, and he’s becoming a true leader that is about to replace Messi in the future.
