America Is Dangerous for Christians

Photo Credit: ICC.org It used to be when you thought about the persecution of Christians, you thought about ISIS or the Middle East. But under President Obama, that has changed. A new report shows that America is now a dangerous place to be a Christian.

According to watchdog group International Christian Concern, the U.S. now ranks among the top 12 worst countries in the world to be a Christian. In their report, the group cited several newsworthy incidences that led to the country making the list.

Stories like the Oregon baker, Sweet Cakes by Melissa, fined $135,000 for refusing to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple. And the varsity football coach who was suspended for praying at the 50-yard line.

The text of the report noted specifically that “In short, Christians in the U.S. are facing constant attacks in the media, where they are portrayed as bigoted, racist, sexist, and close-minded,”.

The document alleges that Christians are being targeted through laws and policies aimed at marginalizing their faith.

Laws and policies continuously supported by President Obama.

Obama’s dislike has not been limited to the Christian faith. He equally targeted Jewish principles as well.

An article from Wall Builders, highlights the numerous times Obama has signed or vetoed laws aimed directly at Judeo-Christian beliefs.

There is a precedent for the “separation of church and state.” However, these laws have not extended to the Muslim faith.

Consider: In 2009, the U.S. military was ordered to burn Bibles that had been sent to troops serving in Afghanistan. Yet in 2012, Obama apologized for the military’s burning of the Quran.

An apology that came after two young Americans were killed by terrorists in the region.

The First Amendment grants citizens the right to freely express their religion. But cultural shifts have forced Christians into the proverbial “closet.” Leaving people of faith helpless to stop the anti-Christian views that have overrun American society.

President-elect Trump has made it clear that the war on Christianity will not continue under his watch.
