The last few days have been a roller coaster for Donald Trump. In the debate with Hillary Clinton, he got attacked across multiple fronts.

Donald Trump went on the defense again after his charity dinner with Hillary Clinton. In North Carolina, at his rally, he aimed and fired at our leaders: “We have a bunch of babies running our country, folks. We have a bunch of losers, they’re losers, they’re babies.”

His top criticism of the rally was directed at Michelle Obama. He said, “And I see how much [Michelle Obama] likes Hillary. But wasn’t she the one that originally started the statement, ‘If you can’t take care of your home,’ right? ‘You can’t take care of the White House or the country?’ Where’s that? I don’t hear that. I don’t hear that.”

Besides that, he criticized Michelle and Barack Obama for how much time they’ve spent campaigning against him. He explained, “I mean, why is Obama campaigning? He ought to be out working. We have a president, all he wants to do is campaign, his wife, all she wants to do is campaign.”

Earlier in the week, Obama patronized Donald Trump in front of Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. He told him to “stop whining” about the election being rigged. Both Obama’s are strong supporters of Hillary Clinton. So, they decided to divide and conquer. Michelle took Arizona, and Obama went to Florida.

A Slice of Humble Pie

Then, in an uncharacteristic moment of defeat, Trump said that he could very well lose.  He told the crowd, “Right up until the actual vote of Nov. 8, and then I don’t know what kind of shape I’m in but I will be happy and at least I will have known: win, lose or draw,… I will be happy with myself.  I don’t want to think back, if I only I did one more rally, I would have won North Carolina by 500 votes, instead of losing it by 200 votes, right? If only I did. So I never want to ever look back. I never want to say that about myself. We have to work.”

As the election is coming to a close, his will is beginning to sap.  He said, “What a waste of time if we don’t pull this off. You know, these guys have said: ‘It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. There’s never been a movement like this in the history of this country.’ I say, it matters to me if we win or lose. So I’ll have over $100 million of my own money in this campaign.”

Week after week the polls, media, and Hillary Clinton have done what they can to rip Trump apart with the assistance of Republicans who can’t see someone like Trump as president.  Trump still thinks he can win the race.
