Protecting the President

Photo Credit: linkedin.com It is the job of Secret Service to protect the President at all costs. Even if that means taking a bullet for him. Most agents take their responsibility seriously.

But one agent is refusing to do that for President Trump. And now the Secret Service is investigating one of their own.

Kerry O’Grady, a senior agent, has posted several negative comments about President Trump on her FB page. Over the last several months, she has said things like his candidacy was a “disaster for the country-especially women and minorities.”

Threats Against the President

Refusing to take a bullet for President Trump is a threat to his safety.

Let’s face it, millions of Americans go to work every day and not all of them agree with their boss. But they still do their job. Or they quit.

A choice O’Grady was free to make herself. But just like other anti-Trump supporters, she chose to cause problems rather that solve them.

The Secret Service is already busy investigating Madonna for her comment about “blowing up the White House. And they are looking into the suspicious package recently mailed to senior adviser to President Trump-Kellyanne Conway. At her home nonetheless.

Now they must devote time and resources to determine if O’Grady is a threat to the person she swore an oath to protect.

As part of their recruitment, the Secret Service notes that it is the duty of agents in the protection field to “develop and implement innovative strategies to mitigate threats to our nation’s leaders.”

O’Grady also noted, in addition to refusing to take a bullet, that she would “rather endure jail time.”

She might be getting her wish.
