Rumors Circulate Around Unsolved D.C. Murder
DNC staffer Seth Rich was in contact with WikiLeaks and some say there may have also been a law-enforcement cover up. Seth Rich’s murder was originally described as a botched robbery.
New evidence has revealed that Seth Rich may have had contact with WikiLeaks prior to his murder that July night. There was some evidence found on a laptop belonging to Rich, which confirmed he had been talking to WikiLeaks.
“I want to find out who caused that man’s death so we can put them behind bars,” said former Homicide Detective Rod Wheeler.
New Evidence Reveals Conversations With WikiLeaks
Griff Jenkins reports:
“Breaking indeed and developing at a rapid pace. Bombshell new evidence of a former DNC staffer Seth Rich suggests he was in communications with WikiLeaks prior to his murder last summer.”
“Here in the nation’s capital, last July, DNC staffer Seth Rich was shot and killed on the way home from a bar in a trending northwest neighborhood. Police initially said they believed it was a botched robbery but questions remain, with the investigation still open.”
“Now, a parallel investigation [reveals] evidence that Rich had contact with WikiLeaks.
Family’s Private Investigator Believes Cover-Up
Fox 5 reports:
“The police department nor the FBI have been forthcoming,” said Wheeler. “They haven’t been cooperating at all. I believe that the answer to solving his death lies on that computer, which I believe is either at the police department or either at the FBI. I have been told both.”
“When we asked Wheeler if his sources have told him there is information that links Rich to Wikileaks, he said, “Absolutely. Yeah. That’s confirmed.” Wheeler also told us, “I have a source inside the police department that has looked at me straight in the eye and said, ‘Rod, we were told to stand down on this case and I can’t share any information with you.’ Now, that is highly unusual for a murder investigation, especially from a police department. Again, I don’t think it comes from the chief’s office, but I do believe there is a correlation between the mayor’s office and the DNC and that is the information that will come out [Tuesday].
