The Mexican President Enrique Peño Nieto may have just retraced his steps on his hostility towards Republican candidate Donald Trump, saying that he would talk to him should he win the election in November.

“Yes, I would meet with him,” Neito replied during an interview on tuesday in Mexico

“I have never met him. I can’t agree with some of the things he has said, but I will be absolutely respectful and will seek to work with whomever becomes the next president of the United States,” Reuters reported Nieto said.

Countless American Latinos have bad mouth Donald for his position on immigration and the wall he has sworn to erect at the Mexican/American border if he is elected as president.

According to Conservative Tribune,

Securing the border has been a key issue for Trump since he announced his candidacy last summer. Trump said when Mexico sends people, it’s not sending its best, and claimed many crossing the border have a lot of problems. Those problems include drugs, crime, and rape.

To combat these problems, Trump has promised to build a wall along the border and deport the millions of illegal immigrants living in the U.S. He has also said he would make Mexico pay for building his proposed wall by taxing money from Mexican workers in the U.S.

Trump has shown no signs that he’s going to back down on any of his ideas regarding Mexico and illegal immigration, and it looks as though Nieto, who in March compared Trump to Hitler and Mussolini, is well aware of that.

Trump has won the hearts of other Mexican Leaders, so this should come as no surprise. Former Mexican presidents Vincente Fox and Felipe Calderón have also changed their tune towards the republican nominee.

Do you think Neito has surrendered to Trump? Do you want the wall to be built? Comment below and let us know!
