In addition to the safe zones, President Trump also brought up joint efforts with the Gulf states with the hopes to defeat ISIS. This is very important to Donald Trump and it should also be important to other nations.
Previously, President Donald Trump had called for safe zones in Syria but had not mentioned these areas for Yemen. Currently, Yemen is experiencing a civil war. The U.S. supports the Saudi-backed government who is against the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.
