Saying that Trump and Obama had their differences is not a realistic statement — their feud has been bigger than that. They both said a lot of bad words about each other. Trump was humiliated by Obama at the White House correspondents’ dinner.

And Trump was obsessed with Obama’s birth certificate. But at the end of the day, none of this matters. Because it’s all about putting their differences aside, and working together to make America great again!

Obama and Trump had their first meeting at the White House, and everything went as planned. They both supported each other, even though the meeting was a bit awkward.

“I want to emphasise to you, Mr. President-elect, that we now are going to do everything we can to help you succeed, because if you succeed, then the country succeeds,” Obama told Trump.

While Obama and Trump had their meeting, Melania was shown around their new home by Michelle Obama.

“This was a meeting that was going to last for maybe 10 or 15 minutes, and we were just going to get to know each other,” said Trump.

“We had never met each other. I have great respect. The meeting lasted for almost an hour and a half. And it could have — as far as I’m concerned, it could have gone on for a lot longer.”

Trump was asked if he will seek advice from Obama in the future:

“I very much look forward to dealing with the president in the future, including counsel. He explained some of the difficulties, some of the high-flying assets and some of the really great things that have been achieved.”

However, according to body language expert Patti Wood, things weren’t as smooth as they appeared.

Trump VS Obama

According to Wood, it was clear that there was some tension between them. Wood described Trump as ‘tentative, serious, and perhaps fearful’ and Obama as ‘extremely fatigued, resigned, and not hopeful.’ – Source.

‘If you look at the seating position – their lower legs,’ Wood told DailyMail, ‘they are both in the male, alpha position saying “I am a man”.’

Obama’s legs are much further apart, and according to Wood that’s a sign of strength. Which also means that Obama is trying to say; ‘I’m still on top’.

‘Trump holds his own hands as he begins speaking which is an indication he needs to comfort himself,’ Wood added.

Even though Obama said he is encouraged by the interest President-elect Trump shows in working with him, Wood thinks he isn’t telling the truth.

‘There is a part where he says he has been encouraged,’ she said. ‘As he says it he closes his eyes. I call that an eye block. That tells me he doesn’t feel totally encouraged.’
