It would seem they are choosing to ignore the bigger picture.

Inauguration day is about more than just the president. It is a celebration of democracy, freedom, and the future. A time to honor this great country we have the privilege of living in.

Country superstar Toby Keith knows it’s also about honoring those who fight and die for us every day.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Keith noted “I don’t apologize for performing for our country or military,” I performed at events for previous presidents [George W.] Bush and [Barack] Obama and over 200 shows in Iraq and Afghanistan for the USO.”

For the “anti-Trump” crowd, disliking Trump is more important than…

Loving America

While some artists use their platform to hurl insults at Trump, others have chosen not only to stand with him but also to help.

Comedian Steve Harvey, recently met with President-elect Trump to discuss how to improve America’s decimated inner-cities.

Forrest Gump star Gary Sinise spends his time and talents helping American veterans and first responders through his foundation.

Then there’s the Robertson family, of Duck Dynasty fame, that supports charities treating those with cleft lip and palate, help victims of human trafficking, and injured soldiers–and many others.

Even controversial musician Kanye West, is trying to find common ground with Trump.

To make a real difference, you have to love something or someone more than yourself. Toby Keith gets it. And so do many other celebrities. It’s just the media won’t tell you about them.

Donald Trump knows it.

Speaking of his upcoming inauguration, Trump tweeted “The so-called “A” list celebrities are all wanting tixs to the inauguration, but look what they did for Hillary, NOTHING. I want the PEOPLE!”

Despite all the opposition and threats, Donald Trump will take office January 20th. Kudos to Toby Keith and all the other artists who are standing up with him.
