A Trump-reformed government project will reduce the federal government as a vehicle for D.C. metro’s Scrooge McDuck-like wealth. Legions of wealthy professionals, both in and out of government, live within the shadow of D.C.’s reach.

These professionals are government dependent, and they will do what it takes to protect their turf, despite the costs. It’s more than ideology that drives them. If the media follows the money, through paychecks and contract fees, true motives will find their way to the surface.

Lobby-Armies and More Against Donald Trump

The Washington Metro contains a concentrated number of influential constituencies for the government. Both federal employees and contractors are far more educated and mobile than ever before. In fact, two-income households may rake in over $200,000 in pay, not including pensions. That also equals a powerful lobby-army that will continue to work to further their interests.

Simply put, the federal government requires a reform of structure. This type of overhaul could do a great deal to promote the future economy while also safeguarding liberties instead of individual initiatives.

Donald Trump and his team of business achievers understand what needs to happen, understanding that the government requires down-sizing, to better help the whole, America the Beautiful. Our president-elect knows the U.S. government should function on much leaner budgets.

Newt Gingrich Wants In Donald Trump Cabinet

Newt Gingrich has said he wants a part in Trump’s administration, and even Democrats seem to respect his wishes. Gingrich understands the big picture, he knows a lion feeds better on an antelope than a hundred field mice — so he’s going after big game.

Gingrich has spent his life shaping Uncle Sam into a more lean, mean machine of progress. Changing Uncle Sam is, of course, easier said than done. Especially as he stumbles dazedly out of the past eight years.

Now, federal employees need to take a step backward, learning the roles of public servants once again.

Government service is not a destination, nor should it be a way of life. Public servants should serve — and nothing else. Those who choose this vocation, should sacrifice for the greater good, rather than striving to get rich off of the public.

One way to measure greatness, is by a person’s humility. Perhaps under Trump, we’ll see our servants move back into this humble position again.

Do you think Trump can successfully end disproportionate D.C. affluence?
