Arnold Schwarzenegger On Trump
Despite having battled mutants, terminators, and predators, Arnold Schwarzenegger has recently found himself in a Twitter war with the President of the free world. Part of this is because the 70-year-old actor took over the Apprentice.
The President tweeted, “Wow, the ratings are in, and Arnold Schwarzenegger got “swamped” (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for…being a movie star — and that was season 1 compared to season 14.”
Trump added, “But who cares, he supported Kasich and Hillary.”
Trump And Schwarzenegger
Trump and Schwarzenegger have known each other for a few decades now and the former Governor volunteered to take over the show. “I’d never done a reality TV show and thought it would be interesting,” said the actor.
Beyond this casual takeover, the Republican former Governor decided to also instruct others not to vote for Trump. Schwarzenegger told his fellow Republicans to “choose your country over your party.”
Clearly, President Trump didn’t take this remark lightly.
Schwarzenegger Jokes About Twitter War
Schwarzenegger joked about continuing the fight but decided to end things. Online, the actor responded, “There’s nothing more important than the people’s work. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you will work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.”
Despite their online feud, both men have calmed down on Twitter and it looks like the President has also slowed down to become more presidential. Based on his most recent speech, which was similar to a state of the union address, the President’s methods are clear and concise.
Trump’s methods to win the election are perhaps behind those initial Tweets to win the presidency. Now that he’s in the oval office and allowed to make necessary changes, he seems to be calming down and focusing on the job.
What do you think about Trump’s performance as President?
