As we’ve said before, Democrats are in panic mode over the FISA memo. After learning that President Trump intended to make the memo available to the American public, they went over the edge. The memo came out Friday morning. Here’s what they did to discredit it.
This week, Democrats went to extraordinary lengths to discredit the FISA memo and the GOP collectively. Representatives Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi along with Senator Chuck Schumer are calling on Rep. Devin Nunes to step-down.
In a somewhat unexpected move, Schiff accused Nunes of “secretly altering” the memo before sending it to the White House. An article from The Hill on Schiff’s allegations has been shared more than 40k times. Guess who asked for the changes?
Take a bow if you answered, “Democrats on the House Intel Committee and the FBI.” We’re guessing their readers didn’t get that far in the story before sharing the news.
Nevertheless, backing-up Schiff, Schumer, and Pelosi demanded that Nunes be removed as chairman of House Intel. “The decision of Chairman Nunes and House Republicans to release a bogus memo has taken the GOP’s cover-up campaign to a new, completely unacceptable extreme,” they wrote in a letter to House Speaker Paul Ryan.
“Bogus memo,” really? Is this Congress or a political spoof of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure?
Distract and Deceive
Democrats aren’t the only ones turning on the spin. Politico fueled their Trump-hating crowd by teasing that Robert Mueller could indict the president. Left-leaning Mother Jones suggested that Russia is planning to attack the mid-term election process.
Combined, those two stories garnered more than 50k shares.
So, as you can see, the name of the game is “distract and deceive.” They want Trump out of office and they’ll stop at nothing to accomplish that objective. And though their efforts aren’t surprising, they are deeply concerning.
If the FBI and the Justice Department, and by extension Democrats, have nothing to hide then they shouldn’t fear the FISA memo. But they obviously do fear it and, at least to us, that speaks volumes about their guilt.
