Donald Trump Condemned By The Press

While conservatives rejoice in their freedom from yet another Clinton administration, the media is pushing forward in an effort to condemn President-elect Trump before his inauguration.

The media is heavily scrutinizing his potential appointees. Rioters have hit the streets claiming that he will not be their president and the media is happily providing coverage.

President-elect Trump is not the first president to be judged before taking office. The media and much of the world judged President Obama before taking office. Obama, however, was judged to be a saint.

Within a year in office, Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize. Later however, President Obama failed to meet many of his campaign promises and was not a peace-making president.

Obama’s Peace Record

It’s no secret that President Obama failed to keep many of his campaign promises. While he was able to rush past some of his vows, like throwing together the failed Obama Care Health plan, many of his more aggressive promises were untouched.

A lack of action speaks volumes, and the following Obama fails shout unfulfillment:

  • Failed to close Guantanamo Bay
  • Unwilling to return Power to Congress
  • Failed to end the Iraq War (before the Bush timetable)
  • Approved UAV Attacks on American Citizens

Like his policies or hate them, these failed promises flew in the face of the Nobel Peace Prize. According to the BBC, the ex-secretary of the Nobel Committee regrets awarding President Obama with the Nobel Peace Prize. That really shouldn’t come as any surprise to anyone.

Phony prophets can often get the future wrong. The media has learned nothing.

They should be embarrassed by their portrayal of Obama as a saint, but instead, mainstream media continually paints a fictional picture of Obama. Now the same media is attempting to portray President-elect Trump as a villain. Where do they get off?

Trump Condemned by the Media

Donald Trump has been under attack since the beginning. At first he was a joke, then a racist, and then a womanizer. The pre-election attacks were endless and false. Now, post-election attacks have begun.

Trump Condemned By The Press with articles titled Mark Hamill on Donald Trump’s cabinet: ‘It’s a who’s-who of really despicable people’.
Independent quotes Trump cabinet as “despicable”

The media is now convicting President-elect Trump’s potential cabinet positions. The Independent included “despicable people” on an article about the Trump cabinet.

Business Insider called the Trump cabinet appointment process a reality show.

Other media sources are accusing Trump of selecting failures.

There’s nothing surprising about this. The mainstream media isn’t comfortable having intelligent discourse. Instead, they choose to criticize and attack the President-elect. They need the shock factor to draw an audience.

The Impact of Media Accusations

This isn’t simply an emotional problem. By focussing on accusations of the President-elect, the media is attempting to dumb-down the public.

They are pushing a propaganda message that the President isn’t relevant or serious. The supposed efforts of mainstream media, to help their audiences understand the situation, is shameful.

This misinformation is something we need to overcome. As many media outlets make wild accusations about the Trump cabinet appointees, we need to continually educate ourselves about the realities of the situation, and dig deeper for facts. As television and the Internet force more garbage and criticism down our throats, the tough job of educating ourselves and others will become more difficult. Still, we must invest ourselves and do it.
