There is a draft repeal of the Affordable Care Act that has already become controversial with Republicans. Currently, the draft is being held in a “secure location” while writers make adjustments.

Republican senators are not allowed to see the draft, which is being protected by GOP leaders. Currently, it’s locked in a room in the U.S. Capitol, and only certain members of the U.S. House of Representatives can see the bill.

For years, Republicans have been trying to replace Obama’s health care law.

Despite the overall Republican dedication to eradicating the bill, there seems to be some intra-party disputes slowing down the fight. At least three Republican senators said that they wouldn’t vote for the new GOP health bill.

Three down-votes is enough to kill the bill, and there are other rebellions within the House of Representatives as well. Those against the new bill are worried that House Speaker Paul Ryan is going to repeal Obamacare.

Those unsure of Ryan’s credibility on the eradication worry that he will only be tweaking the health care system which was established in 2010.

Senator Mocks Secret Bill

U.S. Senator Rand Paul mocked the House Republicans for protecting the bill with such an intense secrecy. “I have been told that the House Obamacare bill is under lock and key, in a secure location, and not available for me or the public to view.”

Paul was stopped from entering a room where the bill was being held. Later, he accused House Republicans for created an “Obamacare Lite” plan that would leave some version of Obama in existence.

“This is unacceptable,” he continued. “This is the biggest issue before Congress and the American people right now. What is the House leadership trying to hide? My guess is, they are trying to hide their “Obamacare Lite” approach…”

What do you think of the Senator’s interpretation of the GOP’s lock and key approach?
