Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009 included A-listers like Bruce Springsteen, U2, Beyonce, and Pete Seeger. It seems most celebrities of this caliber always vote (or support) Democratic candidates.

Casino mogul Steve Wynn is helping Donald Trump gather celebrities for his inauguration this January. Variety has reported that rumored celebs who may perform include Lee Greenwood and Garth Brooks.

Since the majority of famous celebrities chose to back Hillary Clinton, it’s unlikely that pop stars like Justin Timberlake or Katy Perry will attend, but to be honest, that doesn’t seem like Trump’s style anyway.

More often than not, the first people called to perform, include those who have been featured at some point on the campaign trail. For Donald Trump, this would include Ted Nugent, Jon Voight, and there are also other country music personalities who may be interested in performing.

According to Variety, Trump recently met with Mark Burnett, who created The Apprentice to discuss a few untraditional celebratory tactics for the big event. Specifically, they mentioned a ticker-tape parade up Fifth Avenue to Trump Tower, followed by a helicopter ride to Washington.

Other sources think Donald Trump will take a more traditional approach, rather than a parade and helicopter ride. Traditional would likely involve a huge crowd and a solo musician or band.
