Mike Pence Accused Of Following Sharia Law…
Instead of focusing on real issues, like the U.S. states protecting illegal immigrants, the leftist media continues to make something out of nothing. Since they haven’t fared well attacking President Trump, they have now turned their attention to Vice President Mike Pence.
Vice President Mike Pence told The Hill in 2002 that he will not eat alone with any woman but his wife. He also avoids events that serve alcohol if his wife is absent. Pence has cited his Christian faith as the basis behind his personal decisions.
On Wednesday, the tidbit was featured in a Washington Post profile of Karen Pence — and it actually caused some controversy. Boing Boing journalist Xeni Jardin compared Pence’s decision not to dine alone with other women to the “repressive interpretations of Islam” and Sharia law.
Following Jardin’s tweets, more prominent “journalists” from Mother Jones and NBC jumped on the bandwagon, even dragging Pence’s daughters into their vitriol:
“Pence reportedly won’t have dinner alone with a woman who is not his wife. Hope his daughters find better bosses,” said NBC producer Carol Eggers. All of them took the opportunity to mock Pence’s…
Conservative TV host, Dana Loesch, quickly came to the vice-president’s defense saying that liberals were more accustomed to the “oral office” not the Oval office. Other commenters were quick to mock the absurdity of the innuendo:
“Pence said that he never dines alone with a woman who isn’t his wife. BREAKING: Mike Pence loves his wife.”
Let’s face it, with MSM consistently on the prowl for anything that even resembles a tabloid headline, Pence’s decision is not only respectable, it is prudent. We certainly applaud VP Pence for sticking by his values. These so-called journalists should stop chasing headlines and start looking for their principles.
