Mark Ruffalo Begs NBC, Stop Hiring White Conservatives
Mark Ruffalo has recently demanded that MSNBC stop hiring “white conservative” people. The petition asks for people to stop promoting right-wing hate. Ruffalo believes that these divergent opinions are hateful.
Rather than trying to spread the diversity of ideas, the actor from 13 Going On 30 believes that he can stop opinions with a petition. In addition to his tweet, he also pushed for millions of fans to pressure NBC executives to change the way they hire.
The full tweet read, “Sign the petition: Tell @MSNBC @NBCNews to stop the white conservative hiring spree.”
Bruce Banner Turns Into Hulk With Petition
Fox News reports:
“If only Mark had the guts to focus on the violent fascists on his side. The scum who throw urine at young women at protests, who stab police horses, who demand days to celebrate racism… That’s your people, Mark Ruffalo.”
Hollywood’s most recent Hulk is angry that the right-leaning, conservative commentators like Nicole Wallace, Hugh Hewitt, and George Will are allowed airtime on networks NBC and MSNBC.
The actor has supported various Democrat politicians and environment groups in the past and now he’s asking for his 3 million Twitter followers to join him.
White Actor Tells NBC To Stop Hiring White People
The Washington Times writes:
“Lack has pushed out Black and Brown talent including Melissa Harris Perry, Alex Wagner, Touré Neblett, Dorian Warren, Michael Eric Dyson, Adam Howard, Jamil Smith, Jose Diaz-Balart and Tamron Hall,” the petition states. “In fact, Lack has a history of replacing Black on-air personalities wherever he goes.”
“America needs voices like these now more than ever, and we need to make it clear to Lack that we are paying attention and there will be consequences. Tell NBC executives: Stop the white conservative hiring spree at MSNBC.”
