Ruining the Neighborhood

When first daughter, Ivanka Trump, moved her beautiful family to an upscale neighborhood just two miles from the White House, neighbors welcomed her. After all, the plush community of Kalorama is occupied by some really big names–including Sec. of State Rex Tillerson, former president Barack Obama, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
But now that the Secret Service SUV’s have arrived, Ivanka’s neighbors want her out of their community. According to The Blaze, residents are citing “noisy Secret Service agents” and ‘trash lining the curb” as some of their reasons for wanting her to go.
Community resident, Marietta Robinson, told The Associated Press that “it has been like a three-ring circus from the day they moved-in.” Ironically, nobody complained when Obama moved into the neighborhood and the Secret Service closed-off their entire block to traffic. A point the AP curiously pointed out:
“Yet no one has raised the ire of the community like the Trumps.”
Fox News anchor, Chris Wallace, also lives in Ivanka’s neighborhood–and he is one the complainers. Wallace recently attended a community commission meeting to voice his displeasure about “parking problems.” However, not everyone believes this sudden “outrage” is about noise and parking.

Elected neighborhood commissioner, Ellen Goldstein, told the AP that she thinks is has “a little” to do with politics:
“Maybe some of the upset has to do with politics a little. I couldn’t say for sure, but I know that people don’t seem to be upset about Tillerson’s situation. It’s much less intrusive.”
Secret Service officials met with neighborhood leaders to address their concerns last week, after many of them wrote letters to the city mayor and other local officials. It is not known if Ivanka is aware of the complaints, but a recent email from her seemed to indicate she isn’t:
“We love the neighborhood and our family has received an incredibly gracious welcome from our neighbors.”
