Pack your bones, it’s time to travel! Let’s face it, life is better with dogs. We love having them with us and that even includes traveling. Once upon a time, finding a dog-friendly hotel was an expensive adventure on its own. Thankfully, times are changing and canine guests are as welcomed as their owners are…maybe even more.

Aloft Hotels

While not as well known or abundant as some of the hotels on our list, Aloft is one of the most dog-friendly. The hotel has plenty of canine-geared amenities including:

  • A welcoming doggie bag filled with treats and toys.
  • Special dog beds.
  • Food and Water Bowls.

With 101 dog-friendly hotels in North America, travelers should be aware that the some Aloft hotels do not allow pets. Always check pet policies before booking with them. In addition, their policies are two dogs per room, up to 40 pounds at no additional cost. If your dog weighs more, contact the local hotel as they may accommodate larger dogs.
