This Dog Waited For 6 Months For This Flight Attendant To Return For Him

Dogs and loyalty go together like a horse and carriage. They’re always going to wait for you, even if it takes months and years to return.

Olivia Sievers, a flight attendant from Germany, never expected to change this dog’s life. She only needed 15 minutes, to get herself a loyal friend for life.

She works on flights to Argentina, and she prefers to stay at the same hotel. But one day, when she noticed a street dog out of her hotel, she decided to play with him and give him something to eat as well.

As soon as the dog saw a friend in Olivia, he followed her everywhere she go.

The loyal stray pup

“I met him in January or February this year when I was in Buenos Aires. I was walking around very early in the morning, we played and I had some dog food,’ she said.

‘I tried to change my way as I didn’t want him to follow me to the hotel but it was not possible he always followed me so I tried [to wait] one hour but he always watched me and followed me.’

The dog was even waiting for her outside of the hotel. She decided to give him an airline blanket to keep her new friend warm.

‘This dog really wants some friend and some attention, really he’s always looking for a human.’

However, when she left Argentina she wasn’t hoping to see her new friend again.

But the dog was there waiting for her. She was shocked when she returned 6 months later. He was still there, outside of the hotel waiting for her!

The hotel manager was taking care of the dog, while he was waiting for Olivia to return. One family even adopted the dog. But he ran away and returned to the hotel.

After Olivia heard the story, she knew it was destined for them to be together!

The pup is now living with Olivia in German. So at the end of the day, loyalty pays off.

‘Today, I am once again crying out. He was so happy and we were 30 minutes together again.’

The next time you thing about buying a new puppy, just think about this story. Shelter and stray dogs are the way to go. Breed or not, you’ll still get what you’re looking from a dog.

They will always be there for you with a smile on their face!
