Photo credit: CFC There is no other state in America that is more liberal, and out of touch with reality, than California. The fact that Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, has taken up permanent residence in the Senate should prove that. But, in case that isn’t enough evidence, SB 179 should surely be able to remove all doubt. This new legislation seeks to make gender a personal choice.

A California senator has introduced a bill to radically redefine the meaning of the words “male” and “female,” and officially recognize a third gender, “non-binary.” SB 179, authored by Senator Toni Atkins (D-San Diego) and Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) will streamline the process for people wanting to change their gender on government documents, such as driver’s licenses and birth certificates. If the bill is approved, the gender listed on these documents will no longer need to reflect biological reality, but will be determined by personal preference and feelings.
The controversial proposal would also make it easier for parents to change the gender of their children-even if they are only toddlers. At a press conference discussing the bill, Senator Atkins expressed her enthusiasm noting that it would propel CA into an exciting new world.

The American College of Pediatricians has condemned the practice of changing the genders of children as “abusive,” positing that gender dysphoria is a “mental disorder” and should be treated as such. CFC CEO, Jonathan Keller, expressed similar concerns over SB179 saying:
“We believe government documents need to reflect biological facts for identification and medical purposes. Secondly, the bill advances a falsehood that being male or female, or no gender at all is a choice each person must make, not a fact to celebrate and accept.”
Sadly, “acceptance” is a word that liberals toss around, but seem to know little about its meaning. Maybe California should go ahead and secede, America surely doesn’t need any more of their out-of-this-world shenanigans. Perhaps I should identify as a Trump adviser and help him rid us of the problem?
