Was Luke Bryan unschooled? Did Luke Bryan cheat his way through school? Because he just got schooled by a 5-year-old.

That’s right, a 5-year-old knows more about our country’s history than a full-grown, responsible male adult.

Yikes!

In this video, Ellen welcomes Macey Hensley, the child in question, and country music star Luke Bryan to her couch on The Ellen Degeneres Show. She then proceeds to give them questions that either relate to country music or American history in a game called “Know Your History.” But the ratio was slanted toward the second option.

Sitting next to Bryan, Macey looks extra miniature. Bryan, who (reportedly) stands at six feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds, looks bigger sitting next to little Macey, who’s sporting a red cowgirl shirt.  She might a country girl at heart, too!

Question: “Which president officially gave the White House its name?”

Bryan: (silence)

Macey: “Teddy Roosevelt!”

Ding, ding, ding! The little girl wins the point.

This happens over and over, and she wins every point. You just have to watch the video.

It’s okay, Luke. History isn’t your thing, but you’ve got music.

Bryan has done alright for himself. If you want to talk about awards, his trophy shelf is full and might collapse under the weight. He’s won a few ACM awards, a CMT award, an AMA award, several ACA awards, some Billboard awards…and the list goes on and on.  I think you you get the idea.

He’s had chart-topping songs, great success, and I’ve heard that girls find him attractive. He’s pretty much got it going on (except for the whole US history thing…he definitely has to work on that).

Driving the point home even more, Bryan’s video for his song “Crash My Party” is the fourth most-viewed county music video on YouTube with over 55 million watches.

Most recently, he’s heading out on his Farm Tour, which is where he goes to rural areas, performs for the folks there, then gives some of the ticket proceeds back to benefit the local farming communities.

As for Macey the girl wonder, I think she’s going to be alright. Apparently, what she did to Bryan is not uncommon for her. She also schooled Kevin Spacey in a game (again, on Ellen) about White House history. She’s also sat down with President Obama and Hillary Clinton.  Wow, this girl is busy!

“She hears things once and she can just remember it,” her mother, Nichole Hensley, told CJ Online. “Before I knew it, she could identify all of the presidents by their pictures. She talked to 20 to 30 eighth-graders like it was no big deal.

“People said I should send it to Ellen, so I sent it in December,” she said.

This girl’s got a future. I’m not sure what it will be, but she’s got a good one.

As for Bryan, he’ll probably turn out alright too.

“We are very proud and excited, but she is still just Macey,” he mother told ksnt.com. “She’s just our little girl.”
