Reba McEntire’s recently-sold gorgeous, sprawling Tennesse estate is truly picturesque. It’s the perfect location for a wedding, actually. But until recently, that was only something to dream of. But dream no more! Now you can get married at Reba McEntire’s house!
True Southern Charm
According to Nash Country Daily, the house has a lot to offer–a lot of features and a lot of space!
First of all, the property, known as Starstruck Farm, is situation on 83 acres. The home itself is 12,819-square feet, with architecture reminiscent of antebellum plantations, full of southern charm.
There are seven bedrooms, five full bathrooms, chef’s kitchen, wine room, and a home theater. It also includes an eight-car garage, tennis courts, pool, and guest house. And if you’re an horse lover, you’ll love the equestrian center that has both indoor and outdoor riding arenas.
Laura Baugh, a Realtor with Worth Properties, LLC, listed the property. In an interview with the Wilson Post, she gave even more details.
According to Baugh, “The master suite is expansive with a marble bathroom that has a copper soaking tub. The suite has a terrace and outdoor fireplace overlooking the lake.” She also mentioned that the home theater isn’t just a room, but has three-tiers of stadium-style seating. Also, there’s an elevator and a gym.
The pool is salt-water, and includes a hot tub. Then there’s a pool house with two baths and a full kitchen (in addition to the guest house). The estate was listed at $7.9 million, but sold for $5 million.
The question was, what were the new owners going to do with all that space and all those amenities?
The home is an obvious venue for retreats, gatherings, and weddings. And that’s just what the new owners intend to do.
County Rebel reported that the Wilson County board just approved a zoning request that allows the property to be used for such events. It will also be utilized as a bed-and-breakfast. This means someone can soon say they’ve slept at Reba McEntire’s house!
According to the county board, there are a few noise restrictions and curfew regulations. Regardless, it’s the perfect Tennessee venue to say I do and stay the night. Then you can tell your friends you spent your wedding night at the home of one of country music’s living legends!
