It seems there must be something in the Nashville water, as they say. Or maybe artists just know how to make good use of their time home from tour. Whatever the reason, there is no shortage of expecting couples among country’s hottest names!
Chris and Morgane Stapleton
The Stapletons recently announced that they aren’t just having one baby, but two. Yep, the couple who are already parents of two are expecting twins!
The couple recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on Oct .30, though they’ve been together 14 years. Morgane took the opportunity to post the news on her Instagram page.
“14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way,” she posted. “Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round.”
She didn’t make any other details available, so no word on when the babies are due or if they know the sex yet. Fans will just have to wait!
Chris Stapleton broke the news to a smaller audience just a few days before, on Oct. 28. According to the Dallas Observer, he told his concert audience at the Dallas Starplex Pavillion the good news. “She’s the mother of my two kids, and she’s about to be the mother of two more,” he revealed.
He then proceeded to sing his hit track, “Tennessee Whisky”. He sang almost the entire song to Morgane.
There is lots of baby news coming from the Lady Antebellum camp!
First comes the news from singer Hillary Scott and husband Chris Tyrell. It seems that the Stapletons aren’t the only ones having twins! The couple recently announced that they are going to be parents to twin girls, giving them a total of three daughters.
Hillary broke the news about the twins on her Instagram page. “God has answered our family’s countless prayers! Our family is growing…Chris, Eisele, and I wanted to share our DOUBLE portion of joy with you all!
The couple couldn’t be happier the twins are girls. Apparently neither can the soon-to-be big sister, Eisele. Hillary once again took to Instagram to share the news.
“Eisele is so excited to have her very own living baby dolls. Chris and I are beyond grateful that we get to raise a household of little ladies, and can’t wait to watch and help them grow into kind, independent and confident women! Now we wait with great expectation (and many prayers) for them to get here safely.”
But she isn’t the only member of the band expecting!
Singer/guitarist Dave Haywood and his wife Kelli are also expecting a baby girl! Due this winter, they also took to social media to make the announcement. “Well, #BabyBellum round 2 is on the way! We’re thrilled to announce the Haywoods are welcoming a girl this December, AND the Tyrrells are expecting in February 2018!!”
This “My Girl” singer is expecting his first child with wife, Blair. The two are currently parents to two dogs.
Dylan made the annoucement on Instagram with a sweet photo of his wife kissing his cheek while each held a baby item. He captioned it, ““Daddy?? I think so! Blair and I are so excited to announce we are having a baby! #mygirl ? Or #myboy ?”
Tyler and Haley Hubbard are also expecting a baby girl! Due this December, the Florida Georgia Line singer and his wife originally broke the news to People.
Haley shared her reaction when she found out. “I took a test…and I couldn’t even contain myself, I was so excited. I honestly didn’t have time to think of how to surprise Tyler, so I just jumped back into bed and showed him the pregnancy stick.”
Tyler was just as excited, saying it’s something the pair “have looked forward to for awhile.”
Haley initially had quite a bit of morning sickness, which wasn’t unusual. However, she dealt with it in a fairly unusual way. She went to Malawi to advocate for women’s and children’s rights. She said the trip gave her “perspective.”
In addition to the morning sickness, Haley has also had the usual pregnancy cravings. Her husband recently joked about the amount of carbs in their house!
Gilbert Brantley and wife, Amber, aren’t just expecting a baby–they are expecting their miracle baby.
When the couple shared their big news to People, they revealed that they didn’t know if it would ever happen. It took two years of trying and a fertility specialist before it did.
“We’d been to see a fertility specialist, and two different folks that told me it would be close to a miracle if it happened without IVF,” he says. “I’m not much of a quitter, but I was really, really frustrated.”
But since it happened, the singer has gotten much more in touch with his emotional side. “I’m not an emotional guy, but this has got me crying like a baby,” Brantley revealed. “I’m pretty good around other folks now, but when I’m by myself, if I look at one of the pictures from the doctor’s office, I lose a few tears.”
Baby Brantley is due in November.
Jason Aldean and second wife, Brittany Kerr, are expecting their first child, a baby boy!
Brittany shared the news on her Instagram page with a photo of the two of them in matching tee-shorts (his says “Baby Daddy” and hers “Baby Momma”). She captioned it with the words, “SURPRISE!!! WE ARE PREGNANT!!!”
Her post continued, “This was the hardest secret we’ve ever had to keep. This journey for us has been full of many happy times & also many tears… The biggest rollercoaster we have ever been on, without a doubt! All of the moments of heartache were followed by the biggest blessing in the entire world!! We will never take one moment for granted & can’t wait to meet you, sweet baby!!!”
With all of the famous country names expecting, it seems that a baby carriage may be the hottest accessory of 2018!
