2018 is almost half over and it’s already been a huge year for Luke Bryan. The “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” singer kicked off his tour season with his annual Crash My Playa mini-festival in Mexico. Then in addition to his tour, he’s been judging the American Idol reboot with Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. And that’s on top of being a husband and father, with three boys at home. So with everything going on, it’s hard to keep track up all the news, updates, and happenings. No worries– we have all the need to know here to keep you in the know.
What Makes You Country Tour
If you were worried that you’d missed your 2018 opportunity to see Luke Bryan, here is some great news for you. There are still plenty of opportunities. With a career that is completely on fire and soaring popularity, as well as a new album, Luke Bryan is certainly seizing the moment. He is taking his What Makes You Country Tour all across the country through late-October.
In addition to his usual concert dates, he also has some really cool happenings with his What Makes You Country XL Tour. With a May 31st kickoff at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Bryan and his crew will visit 13 stadiums across North America.
On tour with him are Jon Pardi, Morgan Wallen, “Every Little Thing” singer Carly Pearce, and “Body Like a Back Road” singer Sam Hunt. Two of the coolest spots to see Bryan and guests are Wrigley Field in Chicago (Sept. 1) and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles (July 28). The visit to Dodger Stadium is pretty historic, considering he will be the first country star to perform there.
Of course, what makes it even more special is that he gets to share the experience with his sons. “I tell you what, nothing is more special than to be in your house with your three boys and go ‘Hey, Dad’s playing that in a couple weeks,’ or ‘Dad played it last year,” Bryan said in a press conference about the Dodger Stadium visit.
