No emotion has ever been written about more because we all know how difficult it is to recover from a broken romance. It really can feel as if the world has come crashing to a halt and that a piece of you is lost forever. You may cry, you may over-indulge in comfort foods or, shut yourself away from the world, but, the reality is you just have to work through your feelings.

It’s important to let go of the need to control the situation. There is always the temptation to try to do something, anything, just to get life back on track. Sometimes, you just have to let go of the reins and go with the flow. 

It is fine to be sad. It is important to let the feelings flow. Don’t try to halt them in any way. At times, you may be a little hard on yourself, thinking it is all emotional nonsense but a broken heart may affect you in more ways than you know.
