Starting Over? Why Meditation And Going Solo Are Inextricably Linked
A romantic breakup always brings a multitude of emotions and many changes along the way. There is a natural divide. It is the parting of ways between the old and new. Starting over can be heart-breaking. But when you utilize meditation for its healing powers, going solo is suddenly not as terrifying.
The break-up and starting over
When a relationship comes to an end, it understandably brings about a multitude of emotions which will be difficult to trawl through. One minute you may feel tearful and the next, exalted, you are free. This is especially so if the relationship was not as good as you would like. The intensity of the emotions will vary depending on the type of relationship and, whether it was your idea to part or not. If you have been with someone for a long time, there will be a lot of emotional turmoil to wade through.
If the relationship came to a natural conclusion, there may be a sense of relief tinged with sadness. However, if the relationship was physically or emotionally toxic, then, this potentially brings a whole new set of issues such as low self-esteem, dependency as well as stress and uncertainty. Whatever the reason for your relationship to end, you need to consider why it happened. This starts to give you some sort of clarity and helps you to draw a line under it. Starting over becomes a lot easier when you understand these important elements.
