The importance of body image
We may not wish to accept the importance of body image, but it exists. In fact, it has a considerable effect on how you feel on a daily basis. When you do not feel entirely comfortable in your own skin, you internalize negative thoughts which are damaging and this creates a vicious cycle of self-depreciating feelings.
