Actor and comedian, Tim Allen, finally broke his silence about the shocking cancellation of his popular conservative sitcom, Last Man Standing. ABC made the announcement that they would not be renewing the show for a seventh season, despite it’s incredibly high ratings. The abrupt, and obviously politically motivated, decision has many people angry-including Allen.

In response, Allen’s supporters launched a boycott against ABC, and started a petition to have the show reinstated. To date, that petition has amassed almost 400,000 signatures and counting. ABC recently addressed the petition saying the show was cancelled for “business and scheduling reasons.” Gee, where have we heard that before?

ABC Entertainment President, Channing Dungey, posited that a big part of her job is to make “tough calls and cancel shows that we would love to have on.” “[‘Last Man Standing’] was a challenging one for me because it was a steady performer in the ratings,” Dungey said. “Once we made the decision to not continue with comedies on Friday, that was where we landed.”

Does Dungey not know that there are six other nights of the week. She admitted the show is doing well, so why not move it to another night? We’ll tell you why-she is full of liberal BS. Sadly, that comes as no surprise. Most people are aware that being a conservative makes you…

Allen has made no secret of his traditional conservative values, which were often reflected in the sitcom’s scripts. He also recently acknowledged that he attended President Trump’s inauguration. So, is it merely a coincidence that his show was canceled shortly after? Probably not. Allen tweeted that he too was “stunned and blindsided” by ABC’s decision.

“Stunned and blindsided by the network I called home for the last six years. #lastmanstanding”

This isn’t the first time Allen has brought his conservative message to television viewers across the nation. His break-out series, Home Improvement, offered millions wholesome family entertainment for eight years. Of course, those were different times-a time before President Trump.

Now, anyone who hints that they support the president, or even agree with him on anything, is labeled a pariah. A fact Allen had no trouble pointing out just a few weeks ago, when he likened Hollywood’s hypocritical attitude to “1930’s Nazi Germany.” Allen told Jmmy Kimmel that  “You’ll get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes.”
