Pokémon eggs have 3 classifications so far, one that hatches after 2 kilometers (1.2 miles), another that hatches in 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) and finally, eggs that will hatch after 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) of walking. Before you walk to hatch those eggs, you need to put them into an incubator first. To do this, go into the Pokémon page of your game by tapping the Pokéball icon and them tapping Pokémon, in the upper portion of your screen there will be 2 categories, Pokemon and Eggs, tap the eggs button and select which egg you want to hatch then tap the Start Incubation button.
