MondayMonday Network recently reported, Ivanka Trump is in Berlin this week to attend the G20 Women’s Summit. The forum for female leaders, hosted by German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, who personally invited the first daughter to attend. This marks Ivanka’s first international trip as an unpaid White House employee and senior adviser to the president.
Ivanka is very outspoken about the causes she cares about, which include the empowerment of female entrepreneurs, and advocating for families and children. She left very lucrative jobs at her father’s company and as head of her own fashion empire, to help her father fulfill his political promises.
So, it only makes sense that she would defend President Trump’s policies whenever she has the chance, right? Well, that’s exactly what she did in Germany. During a forum discussion on Tuesday, Ivanka defended her father’s attitudes towards women and pledged to push for more “positive changes” for women in the U.S. economy.
However, her statements were not only rejected by the audience, but they loudly booed and hissed at her. It was a disgusting, and quite ironic, display of disrespect from people who have no problem with Merkel’s “open borders” and the ensuing rise in cases of sexual assault.

2016 saw an unprecedented rise in the number of sexual assault cases in Germany, most of which were perpetrated by migrants and refugees. German media reported at least 160 cases of rape and sexual assault in places such as train stations, public swimming pools, and shopping centers-with some victims as young as seven. And that was just the first two months of the year.
The boos from the audience prompted the panel’s host, Miriam Meckel, to interject that “some attitudes toward women your father has publicly displayed in former times might leave one questioning whether he’s such an empowerer for women.” Ivanka replied, blaming the media for inflating the stories.
“I’ve certainly heard the criticism from the media, and that’s been perpetuated.”
None of the other panelists, including one who was convicted of misusing public funds, received negative comments from the audience. That appeared to be entirely reserved for Ivanka, the only strong conservative female taking part in the discussion…
