After 11 awesome seasons of reality TV following the hilarious Robertson family, Duck Dynasty is coming to a close. The very last episode will April 12.

Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander, the company at the center of the show, had some thoughts on this announcement.

“It has been over five years that we have been filming this show, which in television is a lifetime,” he said. “There is always something going on. And so, we will just wait and see what happens. I am not a big goal guy. I don’t try and set my five-year plan.”

That might sound crazy to people who plan every part of their day, week, month, and year out. But, hey, it’s worked for him and his company so far. Duck Commander has made millions of dollars selling their unique brand of duck calls.

Besides the show, he’s been keeping busy. He wrote a book about the history of fishing called The American Fisherman. His Uncle Si and he are working on a new show called Going Si-ral. Not only that, but he’s landed a job as a Fox News contributor.
