Johnny Galecki Celebrates International Women’s Day
This month hosted the International Women’s Day. Women, and men, from all over the world celebrated the accomplishments of women and brought awareness to the injustices females face across the globe. One of the men celebrating women on this day was Johnny Galecki.
Johnny Galecki posted an adorable photo with four little girls in rain ponchos. They were holding up signs and appeared to be perhaps selling Girl Scout Cookies. Johnny captioned the photo, “Look at these future CEOs. Killing it in the rain on a Sunday. Fun Fact courtesy of @badflowermusic: Thin Mints are vegan. Who knew? @girlscouts.”
The photo was so adorable that it racked in over 3200 likes, and many comments. Johnny has over 1.7 million followers on Instagram. His bio reads, “Okay, let’s give this a try. No rules. But one agreement — if y’all promise to be kind, I promise to never post a “selfie.”
Got It From His Mama
Johnny also celebrated two other important women in his life. Johnny captioned the above photo, “On #internationalwomensday the two women who influence me most EVERY DAY. ❤️ you, momma and lil’ sis.”
Missing From Photo
However, Johnny was not in this photo posted by both Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch. Many people wore red in support of women and “A day without Women.” Some women chose to strike from work, or only support women-owned businesses in honor of International Women’s Day. Perhaps Johnny only didn’t wear red that day to set.
The Big Bang Theory cast members are very passionate about social injustice. They frequently use their social media presences to speak about their passions. Johnny Galecki is no exception.
