“End this thing—right now,” said Daryl Dixon to Rosita, Michonne, and Tara. In front of their truck, hundreds of walkers surround the Sanctuary. For Daryl, the dynamite he lost sparked an idea that is still burning in his mind.
In the last episode, Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon got into a fistfight when discussing whether or not they should kill civilians. In the end, Daryl proved he would do whatever it takes to finish his plan.
Rick Grimes, on the other hand, doesn’t believe it’s worth the risk. Now, only Michonne, Tara, or Rosita can potentially stop Daryl Dixon.
Daryl Dixon May Get Civilians Murdered
While he doesn’t reveal anything outright, we assume Daryl is planning to drive (or roll) the garbage truck into the side of the building. Since he doesn’t have dynamite, this is the next best option.
If the truck knocks down a portion of the Sanctuary wall, the walkers can get inside. But if the walkers invade the entire Sanctuary (which they will), this could mean killing the workers and possibly even Eugene, Father Gabriel, and Dr. Carson.
Cause For Concern From Daryl Dixon
In a brief clip from next week’s episode, we also learn that Daryl is willing to risk his life to complete this plan. Not only has he fought off Rick, but this could mean his vengeance has grown to suicidal lengths.
There’s never been any reason to believe that Daryl would kill himself for little cause until now. But if he’s willing to make himself a martyr, it’s possible that he could die this season on The Walking Dead.
If he does go through with this plan, someone will hopefully make sure he’s not in the vehicle as he rolls into the building. If on the other hand, he does decide to make himself the driver, he could get himself killed.
Do you think Daryl Dixon would really do something to get innocent people killed?
