If Avengers: Infinity War tells us anything, it’s that there can never be enough superhero movies. With global franchises like Marvel and DC taking charge, fans are going to be thrilled to hear more The Walking Dead actors are getting picked for roles.

In 2017, Jon Bernthal was cast the Netflix series, The Punisher and in 2018, Stephen Yeun (Glenn Rhee) is going to be cast in the comic book adaptation of Chew. Plus, Danai Gurira has been cast in both Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War.

With all of these crossovers, actor Cooper Andrews (Jerry) didn’t want to be left out of the fun and neither should you.

Basically, there was a show Shazam! that ran from 1974-1977. Originally, the story essentially came from Stan Lee, but the show was about, “A young boy, able to transform into the superhero Captain Marvel, travels the country fighting evil and helping people.”

Now, director David F. Sandberg (Annabelle: Creation) will bring that story back to life on the big screen. Currently, Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes) is set to play Dr. Thaddeus Sivana where Zachary Levi (Tangled) will play Shazam.

If that’s not enticing enough, fun-loving Cooper Andrews will play Victor Vasquez.

According to a Shazam! Fan site:

“Victor and his wife Rosa visited Billy Batson in his foster home in Philadelphia and decided to foster him. When Billy got to their home, he met the rest of their foster children; Mary, Freddy, Eugene, Pedro and Darla.”

Both Victor and his wife were orphans, so they’re protective of their children and one another. Essentially, this means that Mr. Bryer is essentially their enemy. And, he’s willing to work with people and give them second chances.

In the brief description above, it certainly does sound like our Jerry (hopefully we’ve even get to hear him say “Deuces” a few times in this new role.) But more importantly, this has us wondering what’s going to happen to the beloved Jerry?

In the season 8A finale, it’s unclear where Jerry ended up. And, we last saw him in the back of the box truck when Simon stopped Maggie’s caravan. But he wasn’t back at Hilltop when she executed to the prisoner.

So, do you think this movie means Jerry might die on The Walking Dead? And, will you riot if they kill Jerry?
