‘Talking Dead’ Executive Producer Quits After Chris Hardwick Reinstated
Staffers quit and protest over host return.
One executive producer for Talking Dead resigned after Chris Hardwick’s reinstatement. Hardwick left the series due to sexual harassment accusations from his ex-girlfriend. Other staffers are also protesting Hardwick’s return.
Hardwick is scheduled to return to host Talking Dead on August 12 to coincide with the Mid-Season premiere of Fear the Walking Dead. According to sources, “female executive producer and a ‘handful’ of the approximately 25 people who work on the talk show left after Hardwick was reinstated last month.”
After an intense investigation, AMC decided that they would rehire the host. Despite the verbal and sexual accusations from Chloe Dykstra, Hardwick will return.
