Many fans were so upset with the slow-pace of Season 7 that they may have even missed some major moments. Season 8 will surely be one of the most exciting seasons yet, but that doesn’t mean some moments from the last season should be overlooked.

After the brutal season premiere, we got to see a different side of Rick Grimes as everyone tried to deal with Abraham and Glenn’s deaths throughout the season. In the end, it was too much for Sasha to handle.

Once she attacked the Sanctuary on her own, she had essentially decided that she was going on a suicide mission.

Part of the heartbreak comes from that dinner scene where Rick pictured everyone around a table eating together. Glenn and Abraham had already been killed, but the scene also showed a few other truths.

Sasha, who looked like she may have had a baby bump, was in fact. pregnant according to actor Michael Cudlitz, who returned as Abraham for the finale. Despite how brief this scene was, it showed the truth.

Cudlitz confirmed this in a recent interview.

“Also, which people may or may not care, this is the future of what may have been, and you can see a little baby bump on Sasha, which not everybody gets all the time,” said the actor. “But Sasha, in the future, in Rick’s ‘What Could Have Been,’ we are having a future where Sasha and Abraham could do that.”

CinemaBlend adds:

“I don’t know about you guys, but for me, that dinner scene (and the unaired bits) take on even more emotional heft in the aftermath of Season 7 as a whole. Back when fans were murmuring about Sasha’s baby bump in the premiere, there was some speculation that this may have been a nod to Sasha actually being pregnant, or becoming pregnant later on.”

“That clearly wasn’t the case, as Sasha made quite the impossible choice at the end of Season 7 to sacrifice herself in an effort to take Negan down. At least, I really hope that wasn’t the case over the course of the rest of the season.”

Do you think Sasha was actually pregnant in the finale?
