BREAKING: Norman Reedus FINALLY Reveals What He Thinks Is Next…
Daryl’s Many Triumphs And Sacrifices
Daryl has been through a lot the past season of The Walking Dead. After watching two of his friends get beat to death by a baseball bat and then feeling like he was the reason for one of their deaths, he was put in prison.
After his escape, he really can’t even go back home because he needs to hide from Negan and the Saviors. Luckily Daryl is an excellent woodsman, but all of these factors are certainly weighing heavily on him.
Norman Reedus believes that Daryl and Carol can handle their circumstances though.
Norman Reedus On Daryl Dixon
“When we first got Alexandria, I didn’t feel like Daryl fit in there. Those were the people who didn’t accept him before this went down and I remember shooting that party scene and I’m out by the tree watching the party…” said Reedus.
Daryl never did fit into Alexandria and never really wanted to. Michonne, Carol, and Daryl all saw it as too fake and unrealistic, given what was on the other side of those narrow walls.
Daryl has always been a loner, and perhaps that’s truer now more than ever.
Carol And Daryl’s Mission
In Season 7B, Carol and Daryl are both out on their own again even though they’re both invited to live within the Kingdom. Carol has just moved back in and Morgan has taken her place in the outsider home.
Both of these characters are on their own missions in Season 7B.
“I do also feel that he likes to be put on a mission, he wears his heart on his sleeve, he protects the people he loves and he means it,” confirmed Reedus.
Daryl and Carol both have this enormous chip on their shoulders and right now, they seem to be in a good place as battle seems to be where they thrive. However, Carol and Daryl both have so much baggage that it could hurt them along the way.
Do you think Carol and Daryl will survive Negan’s war?
