Fans of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead are desperately trying to figure out how the two shows will cross over. Other than the fact that Morgan is going to also be on Fear, the jump is still a major mystery for viewers.
But in the Letter Hacks section of The Walking Dead Issue #176, creator Robert Kirkman spoke about the merger. “The half of season eight leads directly into Fear the Walking Dead season four, which will shake that show in a majorly cool way.”
This makes it sound like Morgan will win the war and then head to Fear. Therefore, Fear is going to need to have a time jump for the two shows to make sense.
The Walking Dead Unites With Fear
According to this quote, we can forget the idea that Morgan ran into the cast of Fear before (or around) the time he met Eastman. This is major news for Fear, but it could mean a handful of other things for the two shows.
First of all, it could mean the new Fear stars will be on The Walking Dead first, but it could also mean that Rick Grimes will one day show his face on Fear. This comes directly from a quote by Andrew Lincoln.
The Rick Grimes star said this isn’t the end of Rick Grimes and Morgan.
Andrew Lincoln Talks Morgan And Rick
“There were lots of goodbyes, and big goodbyes as well. But there was a sort of sense, certainly, with Lennie, that it’s until we meet again. It’s always been that way with Rick and Morgan,” said Andrew Lincoln.
For fans, The Walking Dead will end in April and then Fear Season 4 will come on. While we don’t know for sure, but based on the photos, this could mean Maggie Grace first arrives on TWD.
The three new well-known stars going to Fear include Maggie Grace (Lost), Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg), and Garret Dillahunt (No Country For Old Men). We’ve seen a photo of Grace and James together.
Therefore, it’s likely Rick Grimes and company will win the war and then Morgan will choose to leave with these newbies and head to Texas.
Why do you think Morgan will decide to go to Texas?
